If they F up Transformers I will kill someone. The childhood saga has a place in too many peoples hearts to be made into a botched movie. Either make it good or don't make it at all is how I see it. I have death threats already prepared for mailing.

Gosh! I wonder if they released that early? At point it said, "this summer". Anway, it looks great.
It's nice to see Sci-Fi and Fantasy films at a new level. There's so much poorly made stuff out there for these genre's. The Fountain and Eragon are two that also look good. I have not read the Eradon books, but the movie looks nice. Are we not supposed to see a movie based on Wolverine's character as well?

IMHO the Eragon series were terrible books... They were written by a teenager or something and he basically ripped off all the big fantasy novels like LOTR's and Brooks titles. I read the first one and just kind of plowed through it in hopes that something original might happen - it didn't.
You could clearly see he just read a few fantasy titles over and over and rehashed them into his own book. Many swear by them and say they're amazing but anyone who has read LOTR's can see it. I would recommend them only as childrens books and even then Harry Potter is your best bet since it is original writing and not a clone. Read the reviews on amazon or barnes and noble, most say the same and I heartedly agree.

Watch this version - it's the same as the latest, with the exception that it shows Venom at the very end. Looks good! |

Megatron isn't going to be a gun? That pretty much seals it for me - it will suck.
