Probably has the best writing I've seen in a Sci-fi show in years! (Ron Moore, the guy that wrote most of ST: Deep Space Nine and TNG) is head writer, and god, it's amazing, addictive and is getting rave reviews!!

And all those um, fans of the original, that whined about the new show are now loving it. Now that they actually gave it a chance. Humans.

It's an Arc show--meaning each show continues from the last one.

I love shows like that--DS9 did it during the Dominion War, and it really worked out well. Get this, Ron Moore did the War scripts/shows, but early on Rick Berman wanted the war to last 3 episodes.. lol. god. But thankfully, Berman and the other morons left DS9 to go ruin--um, do Voyager, and Ron did DS9. Thank god.

I used to hate arc shows, too slow. These days what I do instead of watching (we don't have cable so watching would be tough anyway) is wait for a whole season to come out on DVD and buy that, more satisfying than seeing the plot advance by a millimeter each week and having to wait ANOTHER week for that next millimeter... AND NO COMMERCIALS!

Yeah, I TOTALLY hate Sci-Fi's freaking commercials. They are always the same:

"Blow"-Flex
"When is a shitty Diet pill worth $9000?"
"Are you Bald?"
"Can't get it up for yer wife?"
"Clean Air BS"

I guess they think Over weight, bald men, that can't get it up, and have bad indoor air watch sci-fi. Sorry, I'm none of those.

I am doing the waiting for this season of 24. Then rent it. I just don't have time to watch all these shows

Awesome it may be, but Starbuck is a woman.
I mean, I liked it too, but Starbuck is a woman.
A woman..
That's just pure blasphemy
Gah! How do they know that I can't get it up (besides the fact that Big Brother is always watching us)? I always see those commercials and make sure to buy those pills each time. Heck, after a 1-hour show, I have enough "lifty-lifty" pills to stop my "limpy-limpy" action for about 3 years!!

BTW, in case anyone does not realize that I am joking around, I do not have a problem with "limpy-limpy", although my wife begs to differ

Question Mark

I suppose I'll have to watch it for several episodes to see how it compares to Babylon 5, which is still the epitome of science-fiction for television.
