Enjoying this new season. Learned that you got to pick and choose your Llamas, as they are all different re cooperativeness LOL. Interesting having Rob and Amber fron Survivor on the show as well.

I love the Amazing Race. With the increased crapness of Survivor in past seasons (although I am quietly optimistic about the present Palau season) TAR has become my favourite show. Unfortunately we are way behind the US - we are on the season before the one that has clearly just started in the US. Don and MJ just got eliminated. We're only that far along because they showed that season and the previous one back to back. At least they are showing it at a good time and making an effort to advertise it unlike how they used to show it at around 11pm multiple nights a week which changed regularly

I don't like the idea of Rob and Amber being on though, which I had read previously and hoped was just a rumour! I don't think you should be able to play on your celebrity to get on! Plus they're rich enough, they should just go and have their Trista-and-Ryan-esque television wedding extravaganza and not bother us again . Well, better than Rupert and his wife being one of the couples! Or Rupert and his ego

Anyway, better not read this thread anymore so I don't get spoiled

Haha, I totaly agree Aelia, they didnt even show the new survivor at a good time, it was obviously pushed down to a middle of the day crap slot
As fr the Amazing race, I have watched every season and I love it. There is always something funny going on, and the challenges never get boring like on Survivor

I love the Amazing race. I really don't think that Amber and Rob should bea llowed to have the chance to win ANOTHER million dollars. That just isn't fair.

I loved the challange when they were in the IKEA store and they had so much trouble counting those items.

I would love it if they had an Aussie version I would apply for sure!

I know, I would love to be a contestant! Maybe if it wasn't televised lol . My mother and I think we'd be a super team - we'd be the new and improved Nancy and Emily! Although probably they'd crap it up like they did with Australian Survivor... and what's TAR without Phil anyway

LOL re IKEA challenge. I can see how reading the options you'd think the counting would be easier - what with the allen key and all that, and I'm sure most people have had a traumatic experience with a build-at-home flatpack, but if I arrived and saw all those soft toys I would like um, yeah, let's build . 68, 69, 80... classic

Really, Hive? They are showing Survivor at 7:30pm Tuesday - which is pretty prime time.

Hi Aelia Gee - when is TAR on OZTV Aelia? I have grown accustomed to watching cable at the expense of the normal free to air. What channel is it on, when, and what series are they showing? I am sure that I have been following series 2 on the Fox8 station, so I am like way out of date . I am still hoping that someone is going to eliminate Will and Tara for me. Not that I dislike Tara mind, but Will is painful. Part of me wants to see him clutching despairingly as the million dollars slips through his grasp and the other major part hopes he gets the punt next week. On FOXTEL I am only getting 1 show a week, and they are still in NZ, so I am about 3 weeks away from knowing. No spoilers please .

Yeah I have mixed feelings re Rob and Amber being on there. No doubt they already won Survivor so cashed in on that.

Oh and I guess I'll just do as I did with the LOST threads, and make another one saying "US Only" or something, so those on the previous season won't get spoiled re the one we are watching now with Amber and Rob.

Aelia, the season you are watching is a really good one! Heck they all are, but just sayin

Hi Davros, Channel 7 is showing it at 9.30pm on Thursdays, straight after Lost. I'm not sure what season number it is, but the couples include 2 married pro-wrestlers, a father and daughter team, an old married couple and 2 married entrepreneurs of which the guy is a total psycho who always screams at and abuses his wife!

So far they have been to Sweden, Senegal, and have just finished a leg in Berlin.

OK thanks Orbost, I will tune into 7 tonight and catch a bit. It's going to be a wrench going from series 2 to series???, but I am enjoying the shows. The detours and roadblocks are very inventive.

Now if I could just them to stop saying " A roadblock is a task that only one member may complete" every blimmin time - surely they can do that JUST ONCE!!!!! .

I too love AR! Watched all 6 seasons and the new one! GLAD they are doing more than one a year now!!! A well respected 'reality' show for sure!

Darvos-- I know, I get sick of that too, but it's for those new viewers I guess.

Phil LOVES to mess with late teams and freak them out with his serious face, and then pause and say, you're team number...8 or whatever. Making them sweat it for a few seconds. He LOVES doing that .
