Romances?

Ok ive been looking around the web sites and found out you can have romances with either viconia, aerie or jahiera i also saw script you can download enabeling all three romances to happen at once .... how do i start or enable a romance .... i currently have jaheira in my party so what the hell i might as well get my char some action... how can i start or make it happen?

Love is for the weak, not for evil mages such as Edwin and I. Those who aspire to be great cannot waste time with such foolish concerns. My inherent hatred aside though, for people with your malady I'd recommend being nice to the witch and see how matters progress. Keep me posted, I find the misery of others quite amusing.

Well, like Asphyxiate said, be nice. I found that being sympathetic has worked well Jaheira and Arie so far. You kind of have to agree with Viconia's.....exotic tastes for things to progress with her. Jaheira and Arie were kind of fighting over my character. For some reason, I thought it was possible to have a romance with Nalia, but nothing has come up so far in my game with her.

I also heard that female characters can have romances with male npc's, but I don't know which ones.

the strategy guide mentions that the only four romances are the afore mentioned Viconia(an intimate relation!), Arie, Jaheira, and for the lady chars. there is only Anomen. But if you want some sugar from Arie and Haer Dalis' is in your party, you will eventually be challenged to a dual. That is all the book mentions...

haer dalis? I hope you mean for a lady char, lol.

Well i soloed the game so i know NOTHING about NPC ally quests or anything like that. Plus i have the same mentality as axpiashdas]id]asd or whatever her/his name is. A powerful mage cannot waste time with trivial things like "passion"....unless it's with a hot EVIL babe like viconia. rools:

Well i am halfway through the game and i would like to add that viconia is not the only person u can have an intimate relationship with. Around chapter 3, my character actually slept with Arie and she was begging for it!! Just wanted to share that with u guys and i am not kidding.

Why don't you fools spend this time trying to get a real girl?

How long did it take to start getting a bit romantic, I had jaheira for the whole game and Imoen and Naalia for a long time but none of them were the least bit interested. I read that you can get it on with Aerie but I couldn't even though I was lawful good and had a rep of twenty. I only had her in the party for the last couple of chapters after Yoshimo the traitor left though so maybe there wasn't enough time for things to develop. She started to fall for Minsc though! Aerie said she would be his (b)witch to replace Dyanier. I think I probably turned them off by sleeping with Phaere though. Aerie said something about it even though she joined the party afterwards. If you're just after some action don't free the slaves. You keep going upstairs for "companionship", that's what my new evil character is doing.

Jaheria started to get a woody for my char about 2 weeks after we found her dead husband in CH 1. Then some thieves put a knife to her throat, and instead of offering myself in her place, we attacked and killed the thieves. She got all bent out of shape and hasn't shown the slightest interest in my Staff of Pleasure since. Thats one way to shut her up I guess.
