What's your favorite book for you favorite author and your least favorite book of your favorite author.

AND

What's you think is the best book the guy has written for your least favorite author and tell us of the least.

For me is this

My favorite Author is Salvatore. My favorite was the Icewind Dale Trilogy. The trilogy was the first Forgotten Realms book I've read and it sort of has the adventure feel to it. But in my opinion since then it started rolling downhill. My least favorite was the Sea of Swords I thought it was very horrible. Why? Well I'll try to say this without spoilers. I believe everything sucked about it top to bottom. And uh thats it ^^.

My least favorite author.... ah yes! R.L. Stine!
I can't remember the best book he wrote because all of his books are pretty much the freaking same. All of his books are so cliche! What listed below happens very often in his many books.

1. There is ALMOST ALWAYS a scene when the main characters friend or the main character him or herself falls down the stairs. And soon after that Stine describes it as if they are dead and the chapter ends there. Some of his books are just plain not scary. For instance there was one book that there was a girl that was secretly a super hero wearing I think purple tights or something. And the conclusions are always STUPID!!!

My favorite author is Terry Goodkind. His characters are powerfull, detailed and real-life. His writing is so good that I really can't say he has any bad books in his Sword Of Truth series. As for a least fav author, I really can't tell.

My favorite author is Larry McMurtry for his book Lonesome Dove alone. But many of his other earlier works are excellent as well, Last Picture Show, Terms of Endearment, etc etc.

oh least favorite? Peter Benchley (Jaws) the guy is just plain boring and has bad science references to boot.

My favorite author must be Miguel de Cervantes, because Don Quixote is the best book I've ever read, because it does everything well (from action to comedy), though I don't particularly care for the "Curious Impertinent" novela stuck in the middle of the first book. If you haven't read it, and have the time for a 1050 page book, I recommend it!

I haven't read anything truly bad...somehow, I sort it out from the blurbs...though right now, of the sttuff I've read, Mike Stackpole's I JEDI ranks pretty low on my list...the thing comes across as a poorly written SciFi immitation of a film noir dectective story, and Corran Horn ALWAYS is harping about his thoughts...oh, and btw, Goosebumps came out when I was in elementary school, and I had a feeling then that those books wouldn't be any good, so I read Mark Twain....

My favorite author: G.R.R Martin. I've only read three of his books, but they were absolutely brilliant. Elaine Cunningham is also a good writer, and I've always enjoyed the books from Raymond Feist.
