I saw Remy as well. Also on the second screen where she sees the Cerebro info I saw Omega Red [img]smile.gif[/img]

Omega Red? Now that would be a great second-tier villain for any X-Movie.

<font color=white>Awg, there were more names on that screen of characters who have yet to make an appearance, even though I highly doubt most of them actually ever will; Paige and Samuel Guthrie (Husk and Cannonball), Keniucho Harada (The Silver Samurai), Garrison Kane (Weapon X), Artie Meddicks, Jamie Madrox (Multiple Man), Xi'an Coy Mahn (Karma), Pietro and Wanda Maximoff (Quick Silver and Scarlet Witch), Kevin McTaggert (Orpheus), Danielle Moonstar (Mirage)... I wouldn't regard that as a spoiler for movies to come. But, since Gambit is one of the more popular X-characters, it's a relatively safe guess he'll make an appearance in the next movie either way.</font>

I didn't even see half of those names the first time through. (BTW, this is "quoted" from <font color=orange>Grojlach's</font> post in <font color=yellow>Yorick's</font> "Went to see the 12:01 show" thread).</font>

Nightcrawler is really Mystique's son. We saw all that in the storyline when they talk about his past.

Mistique was living as a noble lady, and was maried to a eastern europe nobleman. They had a child, and he was blue, so she gave the child to a monk monastery and ran away. That's why he is so religious, he was raised by them in secret until the vilagers burned down the monastery to get to the "demon" that was in it, and he was forced to run away.

The thing that confused me was, I thought Artie was supposed to be mute and hence had to communicate telepathically, though if I'm not mistaken, the kid did speak in the movie. Plus, he didn't much look like the "Artie" in the comicbooks. Thanks for the confirmation.

This brings me to my second question, anybody knows who the "channel-changing, insomniac" kid is? [img]smile.gif[/img]

The artie in this movie is completely different from his comic book counterpart in physical appearence and powers. As for the TV kid, I'm not sure who he is, I can't even put a finger on what his powers are. Does anybody know if Strykers son was actually in the comic?

<font color=deepskyblue>I'm pretty sure that was Syrin (the daughter of Banshee in the comics). She was the one with the sonic scream that was putting EVERYBODY in the house out of commission, until the soldier drugged her. He picks her up and turns for the door. We then see Colossus come walking into a room with two guards - one of whom is carrying one of the children.

The implication is that he comes walking in the same room..after all, Syrin made her distress well known. But the movie does cut back downstairs to Wolverine between Syrin being drugged and Colossus coming in...so it could have been a different room. If that's the case, I would say it's a safe bet that he was checking on Ilyana when he met the guards.

Guess we'll know when X3 comes out.</font>
