I saw this on the UPN network over the weekend.

Has anyone seen this? It's a story about the revelations and consequences of racial hatred.

It was a little weird, but excellent!

Yeah, i've seen it, good movie. One scene always kept hanging in my mind, the one where he forces the black guy to "bite the pavement", and then kicks all his teeth out.

I've seen it too. Very good movie. I liked the use of black and white vs. color for parts of the film. Very interesting.

I knew that was why he had him put his mouth on the pavement!

It was released in 1998. I've seen it and it is one of my favourite movie, Edward Norton is one of the best actors ever. By the way Ronn try to get the DVD version, there are some deleted scenes on it that really should have been included because at least 2 of them explain the story a LOT better.

I have a vauge memory of it, it seems like. However, I never quiet got the ending, if its even the same moive I am thinking of.

Absolutely amazing film! My favorite bit is when the main character is folding laundry with in prison talking to the black guy. Its a revelation moment when he realises he's in for 4 years for killing two people, and the other guy is in there for 10 for stealing a TV. Genius.

I mentioned that I thought the guy having his teeth kicked out on the pavement was edited from the version I saw. I wrote it off to television editing, but then I remembered they did show the shower rape sceen. What's up with that? I can see a homosexual rape on network television but not a guy having his teeth kicked out?

That editor was a bit "off" I'd say.
