Only just noticed - that makes 110%.

I have finally watched it.

I honestly cannot describe what I thought of the film, it is one of the most awful, poor, great big pile of poo films I have ever watched and at the same time it is strangly enjoyable.

There is one thing that really bugged me. It may just be me but the dwarf seemed a little, well...er.......Big. In some of the scenes he appeared to be as tall as everyone else, is it just me or does anyone else think the same thing?.

I've just thought of something that I did like about the film: Tom Baker as the Elven Shaman - he seemed to pull it off quite well.

That is IT! You guys have panned the movie, torn apart the acting attempts, totally discouraged anyone from watching it!

Therefore, I'm going to go to our local store and see if I can rent it this weekend .

I still think that it is worth watching at least once, there are a few funny bits.

at least you won't have to worry about anyone else having all the copies rented, lol, seriously I was severaly disapointed, as a dwarf fan much more so than at the way it fell on it's face as a d&d movie, I did manage to see the DVD and watch the cut scenes, and you can see that yes they did run out of money, there were a few scenes in there that would have greatly improved the entire movie, but they were cut out, like the adventure inside the scroll, still it was worth watching at least once. although I wouldn't pay to see it again.

I thought the movie was hilarious. I giggled everytime Irons was on the screen. They should have billed it as a comedy, everyone would've thought it was a work of genius.

The most pointless thing about the movie is how "Snail" dies very early on! Is it me or was this pointless!?

Well, duh. He was the hero's black sidekick. By Hollywood rules, he's not allowed to live to see the second reel.

The local store didn't have it . (If I'd have known Budha would be off work yesterday, I could've rented it from town 20 mi. away and returned it--but......)

As a patron to AD&D the movie was torture, They tried to make it comical but in my opinion the funnyness was more or less stupidity, they did a terrible job (for those of u who've played BGII) One of Minsc's statements was worth that whole movi and more. The ONLY cool thing was the dragons and the beholder, Everything else was terrible, I firmly believe my IQ dropped from watching that movie.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring was a Masterpeice. That movie was... There is no word to express how cool it was, In fact i think i will go see it tomorrow for the 4th time. Everyone was portrayed wonderfully! If you haven't seen it yet you are missing out on one of God's creations. Pay five dollars to see it NOW
