I checked the book lists that FR has, and I couldn't find any books exclusively on Dwarves.. Dragonlances however has an entire trilogy about them called the Dwarven Nation Trilogy.

It's about time they came out with one for Dwarves, like they did for the elves and the story of Evermeet.

I agree, the demiraces are high underscored in Forgotten Realms. They need to get an author that completely obsesses with a race and have them write a frenzy of books related to their race. I think the drow have a significant advantage in this race.

I'd like to see more on dwarves. A book about the world from an ogre perspective would be cool too. Or maybe half-orc, the internal dialogue of an ogre might be a bit scant...

The twilight Giants Trilogy focused a great deal on gialnts and giant-kin...I was very interested in it, because I learned alot about those races. (Firbolgs, Verbeegs, etc.)

C.S.Lewis had a lot of Dwarvish people in Narnia, especially the last book in the series ... but it wasn't the focus.

Yes, but the TSR writers (sorry, WOTC, old habbit, I just don't respect the new company so much) do seem to have a strong bias in favour of elves and humans (Drow are a subrace of elves, in 1st Ed they where a fictional joke, the Monster Manual claimed that they didn't exist and where used to scare people, then Fiend Folio came out with Drow rules and some people got obsessed). There are a lot of racists out there, you should see some of the great dwarven tales that I have penned .
