Help, Z! Character in Server vault says I can't use

Hey Z! I created a character in the game in EfU and it is on the server vault (Kalmia Latifolia, level 6 cleric and 1 fighter) and I just tried to go in and use her but it says she can't be used because she has an illegal item? I made her on the server and only picked up things IN the game so I don't understand what's going on.

I was having probelms getting into the server early on this morning.

What has probably happened is that the Item level restriction has been turned on by mistake thus stopping you from comming in.

WAHHHHHHHHHHH! must be, because my level 5/2 bard/rdd is also not being allowed! sniffle....sniffle...and I only had a short time to play tonight. Oh well, maybe later...if it gets fixed!

Yeah I was hoping to play both last night and this morning however both times the server was timming out on me (methinks it crashed).

hmm, now it doesn't show any of my pre-made characters.

The server has probably just been reset again. Give it 5 minutes and it should show up.

Z must be having some problems with the server. I saw him online through the Bioware website (he is on my buddy list) so he is on the server.

Something is going on.. I keep putting it up, and it 50/50 doesn't show up in gamespy.. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't. GS may be having issues or the Bioware checking server may be. I don't know what is going on, but I'm watching it CLOSE tonight. Let me know if you can log in, as IT IS UP now. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have never had item restrictions on anytime this week, so sounds like a server glitch.

Hey Z,

Just to let you know I tried connecting from about 8pm (AEST) to 7am(AEST)(I Slept inbetween [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) and the server kept timing out on my. I always connect via a direct connect from an icon on my desktop.

I checked Gamespy and through NWN and I could not see the server. It came up again at around 7am this morning but then I had to go to work.

Dan, I got in but had to create a new char (Amarylis) and it still told me I couldn't use either of the other premade characters because of an item level restriction.

Hey Cloudy,

Before you log in check the server details and see if item level restrictions are on.

So when you click Multiplayer, Internet Game, when you see EfU on the server list click on it and then click Server Details. Is there a check box next to item level restrictions ?
