So much for Durlag's and the rest of the sword coast. (phew)
I must say though, after my first time through this area, that I was both impressed and dissappointed. The area itself was amazing. I had a great time figuring it out. IMHO though, the demonknight was WAY too easy to kill. Now Aec'letec... THAT was a great "boss" Be seeing some of you in the BG2 forum real soon ![]()

Congrats on doing it for the first time. It is quite magical. I suppose you are right about the demonknight...and also Aec'letec. He was a good fight. Now...you better be going to do the whole thing again

You better believe it, but I think I'll try to do it with a party of 3 next time.
Tank Thief Me. (cleric/mage multi) That should make some of the battles a little tighter. Either that or I'll just raise the game difficulty, because to be truthful, most of the game (barring a couple fights) has been a cakewalk with six.

Aec'Letec is hard to kill in a straight fight. There are simple ways of beating him, however:
Send 1 invisible character down the stairs wearing a Nymph's Cloak or Algernon's Cloak. Charm Tracea Carol and then send everyone else downstairs. Kill all the cult guards (they won't fight back), then cast a cloudkill in the center of the room. Talk to Tracea Carol, and then have two people use arrows on Aec'Letec incase he survives the cloudkill. That way, he can't take the life of each of the cult guards. It's a cheep tactic to kill him and requires reload knowledge, however.

Ayup.. that'd work. Tad too much cheese for my taste, but original anyhow. My stepson is also playing. I'll suggest it to him when he gets there. lol. I guarantee that he'll love the idea. (betting that he subs in fireballs instead of arrows though)
