I wouldn't trust it, actually.
I would go to the Bioware website to activate anything directly.

Have you recently created an account online, that you haven't registered? I received one today, and it took me to Bioware's site. I have recently created a second gaming account, that I use online, and hadn't registered at Bioware, since my first account is still current.

I started a separate account to game online with, aside from my Robert the Bard account, and that may be what prompted the email. However, discretion is always adviseable, go to Bioware's site, and see if you have a private message under the account you use, or an official message, that's not Bioware Wednesday, anyway.

I checked into this. Bioware is just cleaning out old accounts. It IS legit.
