I decided to try a *tank-based* char for the 1st time in NWN (normally my chars go down the arcane route).
What are the prerequisites my char has to meet to get / have the full four attacks per round ? Dumb question but I didn´t find anything in the docs etc.

Your character needs to have a base attack bonus of 16 or greater before level 21 to get four attacks per round.
You can find the tables on what is page 157 in my version of the NWN manual, or page 60 in the HotU manual. The SoU manual comes without tables. What you do is take the base attack for each of the classes your character has and add them together. For example, a Fighter(3)/Sorcerer(11)/Barbarian(6) has a base attack bonus of 3 (3 warrior levels) + 5 (11 mage levels) + 6 (3 warrior levels) = 14. A Cleric(1)/Sorcerer(1)/Wizard(3) has a base attack of 0 + 0 + 1 = 1 (not the 0 + 2 for a level 4 mage). [ 01-26-2006, 09:01 AM: Message edited by: Legolas ] |

Also keep in mind that you won't get much higher than 16 or 17 in the OC. So if you want the full 4 attacks per round, you'll have to stick pretty much with the fighter classes that get a +1 AB every level.

Also worth noting that at epic levels, the AB progression that all classes receive (+1 per 2 levels) does not count towards increasing number of attacks, since it is applied after BAB.

Also note that the spell haste adds one attack per round and that relatively soon you should find an item that gives permanent haste.
