I am a palemaster, its really fun to use the summoning spells but i have a problem, i cant get the undead-hand to work proper, 9/10 times i miss with the hand! What must i do to make it work properly? I am human, 3 sorcerer and i thinks it is 10 palemaster. What class is best to multiclass with if i want to make more hits with my undead-hand? I hope you understand some of the things i wrote (english is not my first language but i am trying to improve it :/ ).

The 'hand' uses a melee touch attack to determine whether or not it hits.
Your attack (d20 roll + base attack bonus + ability modifiers (STR or DEX) + other modifiers) has to beat your opponent's unenchanted AC (10 + Dex modifier up to the amount allowed by the worn armor + AC bonusses through skills + AC bonusses through feats + unenchanted armor AC). If you feel you miss often, there are four things to try. - Take points in the Taunt skill to lower your opponent's AC - Cast spells that improve your attack bonus (Truestrike, Bless, and so on. Clerics have a lot of these) - Take levels in one of the fighting classes (their base attack bonus grows more rapidly with levels) - Improve your own Strength, or, if you have the Weapon Finesse feat, Dexterity. Best classes then might be Cleric (for spells), or one of Fighter, Barbarian, Paladin, Ranger, Arcane Archer, Blackguard, Dwarven Defender, Weapon Master or Champion of Torm. Red Dragon Disciple is decent also, it more or less makes up for the lower attack bonus with the +4 STR modifier. But I'd leave that and just remember to cast my Truestrike just before using the touch. |

Then again, you could always try monk, the unarmed combat specialist, more or less...

Probably not the best of ideas. The monk is the unarmed combat specialist because of the increases in damage and attacks per round. The attack bonus does not reach very spectacular levels, while it is exactly that aspect which is important to a succesful touch attack. At level 20, a fighter-type class has a base ab of 20 as opposed to the monk's 15.
