I know this is a very silly question, but I can't help myself. I have the snow globe, but I didn't free Nax as I talked to the elemental before meeting him, does this affect my quest in any way?, my second and more important question... I really don't trust Lillian Cambridge, shall I give her the snow globe or shall I find the way to use by myself?... Thank you all for your help!.

whether you do or do not free nax has no effect on your quest.
no other way to use globe than to give it to her...
