My Monk vs. the Big M.(SPOILERS)

I found one thread about killing him with a mage but how the hell do I beat him with a monk!? Neither Nathyrra nor Aribeth can damage him at all and the main character does 1-2 damage per hit.

Any urgent replies appreciated.

raise your wisdom a LOT with potions and necklaces and then quivering palm him (or simply keep pounding away). quaff heal potions on a regular basis. also raise your strength in a similar fashion to increase damage and your ability to consistently hit him.

Yay, I found a +10 Strength belt for a certain henchman from the store and the battle got far easier. Finished the game!

Now, time for impressions. I installed both of the expansion packs at once and played them through. SoU was slightly disappointing but HotU was great. Did anyone else get the feeling that the third chapter of HotU was strangely familiar to(ripped off from) Planescape: Torment? I'm not complaining though, since Planescape: Torment is, in fact, the best computergame ever made.

I'm also happy they described characters in the dialogue box, a feature which only Ps: T of the Infinity Engine games has.

A good game but I don't know if I want to finish it a second time. I'll try out some fan-made modules first.
