I just noticed something: either the artists had never seen working hands or rakshasa like to twist their wrists round??? Their hands seem to face outwards. Anyone know why?

Their palms are uptop instead of on the bottom. Backwards hands I guess. Check a D&D 3E monster manual. Funky looking in the picture.
