What's all the complaining about?

I've heard some pretty bad things about this game and I'd honestly like to know what is all the complaining about? I bought the game recently, and i'm going to be honest here, i'm so addicted...

The story well it's not FFX...

I want you all to know how ridiculous you sound comparing this game to BG/BG2 by the way. [img]tongue.gif[/img] The two are just about completely different. I admit it's not perfect. (Why'd they have to ruin so many mage spells, and where did all the good mage spells go? And what's up with the voice acting? Sounds like they weren't trying most of the time. I can go on and on about with this stuff...) Like everyone's been saying it's the multiplayer where this game really shines. [img]smile.gif[/img] I can play with all of my friends at once, in modules that are hopefully decent, in worlds any one of us can control. What is wrong with that? Besides it's free! [img]tongue.gif[/img] What's not to like about that part? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]
Of course most of the ones Ian makes are so huge he hasn't had time to put in quests, people, or monsters, yet. And if there is something to do you'll be killed so quickly at level 7.

Of course I suppose you could just talk to the head to instantly get a level... *sigh* Stupid C++ class. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I'm ranting now time to end this lol!

You'll be happy to know that I'm adding quests even now ! [img]tongue.gif[/img] That cutt-off area will lead to a small forest which has a town in it, and from there you'll go to a grand type of... thing err I lose track of where players end up in that "Crossroads" area... and yes the towns shall have people in it! [img]tongue.gif[/img] I also am adding in a place full of vampires that are only level 8 and have 15 hp, so it should be nice for those who wish to level up... fighting vampires... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yeah, I'm working on a mod too- Talbintiiar. Should be done is a while. Is it possible to export areas so that people could combine their mods together?

Yeah I think I read about somethign like that somewhere. Do you know how huge a mod would be if you combined it with DK's? *shudders*

Yep - you can export it as an .erf and combine all the .erfs into a HakPak. Check your NWN folder for the NWNHak.exe file (or something like that).
