Ok i have a +3 Great Axe and i want to make it a +3 Stonfire
axe from the blacksmith but when i forge it it is only +1 and i have the same problem with the Astral Sword becuz i have a +3 longsword to and it did the same thing? any ideas? thanks!

Yeah the blacksmith in chapter 1 only makes +1 weapons, so if you give him one higher he'll just convert it to +1, and the one in chapter 3 only makes +2 weapons. Dunno what you can do apart from going and creating one yourself with the toolset.

* * * * Actually, the smith in Chapter One make the +1-weapons (Stonefire +1, Astral Blade +1, Harbinger Kin +1, etc). And then, when you get to Chapter Three, the smith there can make the +1-weapons into the +3-weapons (Harbinger Kin +1 ->+3, Astral Blade +1 ->+3, Stonefire +1 ->+3, etc).

I believe I had the guy in act3 make me a couple of things at +4. Fey duster and gladiators club. as I recall.
