bloody mummy lord guarding some 'good' treasure (in charwood, but the treasure consists of a bow and some swords?!?) and everything is dead except this damned mummy lord?!? how do i kill him my weapons dont scratch him, do i have to kill his sarcophogus or what ? and in normal circumstances i wouldn't do this but im rele stumped

he might have cast a protective spell that reders him immune to your attacks - try retreating until it expires.

just hit him harder ...I didn'y have such problems but I was using magical weapons, I belive at the time I was dual wielding the Astral Blade with the Feyduster ..both +1

I think it's a damage resistance spell. Use Power Attack if you have it. If not, keep beating on him. He doesn't hit too hard. The spell wears off before too long. I don't know if it only absorbs so much damage, or is time based.

also try fire damage, it's a mummy's worst nightmare (from crossbow bold/arrow of fire)

They have damage resistance. If you notice the messages .... it will tell you how many hp of protection they have left. Once used up, hits damage normally.

I was playing as a ranger and i discoverd that lightning arrows can hurt them also.

mmm I do belive when he had all his protections on at the start of the fight it was mostly just the sonic damage from the astral blade doing the damage ...now I come to think of it.

I'm not really sure, but I did note that with a +2 longsword, I couldn't affect him no matter how long I hit him, but once I used a +3 mace, that did the trick. He might be vulnerable to fire or other types of magic, but that was all I had at the time.

killed him now, after skanking off to the green griffon inn buying a +2 axe and doing there little questy thing to level up,then i just beat on him until his shield wore down and then killed him with three criticals in a row!!
