Well i just beat NWN with my Gladiator, and i was gonna restart as either a wizard or a sorc, but im undecided between the classes. Any suggestions?

Also, i've found some pretty cool staves(like Staff of Magi which is majorly bad ass), but can u buy staves from any shops?

Wizard or sorcerer... Okay, if you're the kind of person that likes the flexibility multi-classing can give, then you're a wizard kind of person.

If you like making power solo-classes, then sorcerer.

Also, if you like to exploit game-design mistakes, the sorcerer. (They bunged up the class. Sorcerer's can "unlearn" spell choice mistakes, wich tips the balance to the sorcerer, IMO.)

ok socerers have more spells that they can cast but they know less spells, but you can unlearn spells, wail wizards can have more spells but can cast fewer spells. Just a reminder though socerer spells are based off of charizma for some odd reason which might effect you choice like said if you plan on multiclasseing or not. As for the staff i don't thinkg you can buy them but there is quite a few out there to get, my problem is with the robes they don't offer enough protection for my tasts with a +4 protection clock i only have 17 AC and the greater battle robe.

well the only problem with waring heavy armor is that it creates a 40% spell failure rate best to stick with the lighter armor in which case you really don't need to multiclass unless you want to use all the different weapons. If you don't plan on, or tend not to use alot of different spells i would go for the soc. however if you want a wide veriety of spells to draw upon for different tackticks go for the mage instead, but thats just my opinion.

Thats true about the spell failure, but i could always put the robe in a quickslot and equip it automatically when i need it . I'll probably go with sorcerer then

Summon a creature or two - the benefits you get as a 20th lvl sorc are to good to pass up for the benefits of a lvl fighter, esp in the later stages of the game

Go for it at your last few levels unless you are a race where fighter or wizard is their speciality class..

and Jen.. go for the sorc

In chapters 2 and 3, there are a number of magical items that can be made in magic forges. These include a staff of power, some sort of robe, and others. I haven't seen anything for sale that looks comparable to these items.
