What I did was lure Morag into the hallway, gulp down a Potion of Invisibility, and creep into the room, slam the door, and take out all of the priests and cocoons (the cocoons in the corner summon a hostile clay render *(or something)* and a umber hulk.) I destroyed the statue, minions, and priests, with Morag beating the hell out of the door and yelling "Wilmaaa!!" (not really ) . When I opened the door, my Divine Fury katana made short work of the over-egotistic excuse for humanoid. And she calles me *her* slave!
Edit: Oh, BTW, how come the weapons her "Right Hands" drop are unidentified so you can't use them, but when I high-tailed it back to the Temple of Tyr and identified it there, the names of the magical greataxe and short sword were "Greataxe" and "Short Sword". What the heck! I mean, they could have at least put a satisfying desciption and name on the thing! But no, they had to be unidentified so you couldn't use it against Morag, and when identified have no description at all! And this is a greataxe that does 1d12 damage with 1d12 fire damage also! 2d12 damage, I could have beat Morag easy with that1 Ah, well. I guess they were really rushing at the end. They didn't even show Nasher giving you their gratitude! Ehh... [ 08-20-2002, 07:16 PM: Message edited by: Willard ]

I took out Maugrim's hand (cocoon on right) first with some huge critical hits and pretty much took the full brunt force of the spear spikes at the same time. I thought at first it hit me that hard but soon figured out that I rushed it a bit.
I then healed myself and was frozen in time for a moment or two. I don't know what spells he got me with but not much damage came out of it. Whaled on another huge beast ---> Maugrim was electricuting my back Greater raging parrying, sparks flew, priests lay lifeless and then my attacks against him drew blood. He said "no! I can't die..etc.." and fell over the ledge. The room boiled with power....and..who knows. Maugrim's fall into a shadow void is not uncommon. ![]() Hot bowl of soup and a shave |
