for how long can u hire him?
I mean how long do my 250gp´s reach before he leavs?

He will stay with you forever for one hiring fee. You can get him killed a dozen times, and he'll still rejoin you. Pretty good, huh?

The Peninsula district is supposed to be the easiest to start with. There are a few tough fights in there, especially the last one. Just tough it out. Once you get to level 5 or 6, the rest of Chapter 1 will be fairly easy. You can try the Beggar's Nest if you're really struggling, but there are some tough enemies in there too.

Certain fights, like that Larox guy, need to be left until nearly the end of the chapter. There's also a fight against four enchanted swords that's nearly impossible, but that's part of a side quest, not needed to find the cure.
