So far I am enjoying NWN very much,had audio problems so I downloaded new drivers and they haven't come back.There is a possibility that saved games can become corrupted or inaccessible,happened to one of mine so I keep two saved games up to date.
Now then-----possible spoilers--- I am nearing the completion of the Waterhavian creatures quest,the only creature I have to snag is the Dryad/nymph. I know where she is,in the sorcerer Maldenen's estate. I haven't been able to get in yet. Found Punkin and her mom,know the magic word to get down in the sewer area. Clobbered everything there (what the heck do I do with skeleteon knuckles?),but I can't get through the door. Found the note (the splinter that flight delivers),but I didn't see any arrows in the place. I went to the zoo(tried to open the cages to give the animals a shot at the nobles),no quest there. Went to the Bare Board,fought in the Gauntlet,beat everyone there including Claudius. I have the bar so I guess I'll have something to retire on. But I still don't know how to get through the door and get the Nymph/dryad. Can someone please spoil me here? Thanks in advance.

well you can just go up to the guard at the front gate and a) bribe him, b) kill him and take the key from his body c) try to convince him to just let you in

Talked to guard he wasn't impressed (Charisma 10),talked to Milly and she sent me off to talk to Formosa. At this point I am willing to clobber the guard to get my hands on a key..

the place with the skeleton knuckles is actually lord never's tomb. It's not the entrance to the sorcerors estate.
