Impossible Dream?

Firstly, hello to everybody on this forum! Long time no see And - I've really missed it.

Happened to buy W&W the day before yesterday and now I have a little problem. The thing is that I wish to begin a game with zenmaster - um.. it's not a too modest wish, isn't it? - (playing this game through smth like a 4 times I've figured out that most interesting starting party for me is Lvl 1 Zenmaster plus Lvl 1 Warrior), but I havenot my saved games here (actually I even live in another country now). We all know how to obtain the first-level zenmaster when you have completed a game and have all 4 tomes. But how to do it, when the game is just installed?
Well, may be I can try to hack tomes (thanks to the instructions of Wyv on this forum [img]smile.gif[/img] ), though I've never done it before and am not too sure in success, but what about an actual promotion? As far as I remember it can be done only in Bushi Dojo of Brimloch Roon (guildmaster of Bushi Dojo in the second city never could help me with it ). That means that I have to go through a half of this game until getting to Brimloch Roon Believe me, I very well know how much time it takes .
So, is this just an impossible dream?
It is so unfair that we may not use those prestige classes at once - especially when you know this game really well...

(I've seen you lurking around in the shadows, lately.....I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to talk to us or not??)

Anywho...
The easiest way to start as a Zenmaster, might be to use a character editor....There's one, you can download...Right Here.

If that doesn't help....let us know.
If it does help....keep us posted....

Unfortunately, the editor seems to be unable to help - as far as I can see, it gives a possibility to edit stats, skills, traits, but not classes

You can take many shortcuts on your way to the Zenmaster.
1. Create a "forerunner" which is here only to gain the tomes. Let him become a ninja ASAP so that you gain all teleportation spells soon. What must be done now:
- The Snake Temple: bypass Xydusa by means of the Kerielle's potion, gain the key, catch the tome and teleport away.
- The Boogre Prison: enter through the backdoor so that you avoid boogreism, kill the "bug" and S'Keser'Da, catch the tome and climb the walls in the room with the worm stick puzzle.
Vanish through the pass between Ishad N'Ha and Brimloch Roon. Vanish to the second part of the map.
- Collasium: must be done because we need the tablets (and the third tome - and also the Ring of Neptune for the Chosen One).
- The Pyramid: to the last tome. All this does not take too much time [img]smile.gif[/img] I have tried it.
The Chosen One will be teleported from town to town by the forerunner. Otherwise, the Chosen One will be sitting in the inn. This way, the Chosen One will be level 1 with 0 XP when he becomes a Zenmaster. Reset Adventures.

just wondering, can zenmasters learn all spells and train them like warlocks?I've got a warlock i'd like to be a zenmaster and in my youth and want for a warlock i didn't make her any other class first so she's missing the spirit and vine spells and quite a few of the others.

All magic schools are available to Zenmasters. Moreover, the change role event makes sure that the Zenmaster will have all magic schools by giving him one level 1 spell for each magic school. More precisely, these level 1 spells are fixed and you get them if you haven't learnt them already. I don't know exactly which ones are they in case of a Zenmaster [img]smile.gif[/img]
It is the same mechanism as in the case of all other spell casting roles. For example, a Samurai gets Burn if he hasn't known the spell already. A Warlock gets Bloodlust and Frighten if he hasn't known the spells already. And so on.

As for shortcuts, Radek, it is so difficult to go strait to the aim (for me, at least) not looking around for adventures.. I am deadly sure, that even in Serpent Temple I'll be tempted to investigate every single room and to kill every serpent priest passing bye [img]smile.gif[/img]
