How do u open a jammed lock?

I have asked this twice with no responses, so if anyone knows please help, i jammed the lock in the room behind where you find the lich, that great big door, is there another way to open it, or is there even anything in that room?

Sorry for the delay in answering you. I believe you are referring to the study. That door can be difficult to open - a better lock pick might help as well as better lockpicking skills. Another possible option it to choose the KEY as a reward from Adrianna for getting the scroll. Her key is "supposed" to open that door. I've heard of players saying it does and players saying it doesn't.

There is a chest in that room. The treasure is random as appropriate for this area of the game. If you skip it, you won't be missing anything of great importance.
