Does anyone know if there is going to be a sequal to W&W? I'd love to see W&W 2 with perhaps mutliplayer online options. Instead of controlling 6 characters, perhaps you would only control one and the system would allow 6 - 8 real people to play in one world and explore either solo or as a party. That would be alot of fun. I just got W&W the other day and it has been really fun. The only thing I didn't like was having to control 6 characters at once. It was too much of a hassle for me. So... I created one fighter and have enjoyed the game very much so far with a single character. It would have been nice to be able to have NPCs join your party throughout the adventure. That would have been interesting. Eitherway, W&W is a real gem and I like how they took that classic Bards Tale/ Wizardry style crpg and enhanced it to todays standards. Really nice touch

Hi Draugr,

Although we all had hoped for it, I would place my bet that most likely there will not be one. The initial release of WW didn't do all that well, but I do remember before WW came out that DWB had talked about making this into a series and already had preconceived ideas for future WW games.

But then again, who knows?

I wish there would be a sequel but I won't count on it. There was a friend of Bradley's posting in the Gamers forum at the time W&W was released, and according to him there must have been a lot of flak, they were blamed and flamed for just about everything you could imagine.

If there is a sequel, I sincerely hope it won't be Multiplayer only. Our phone rates here in Germany are about half what they were a few years ago, but they're just about to abolish flat rates for private customers, and my phone bill is still about 200 DM a month. Apart from that, I enjoy a game more if I can get to know it at my own speed; especially at the very beginning I always feel as if a game was written purposely to make me look silly.

I wasn't saying multiplayer only. I was talking about the option to play multiplayer. Option as in optional single or multi!

You can have multiplayer in the first W&W -- the code's in there, since you could play multiplayer before Activision got ahold of it. I doubt there will be a sequel anytime soon. DWB's working on this sci-fi diablo-esque style game right now (well prototyping it atleast)

Alz,
How can we play W&W multiplayer if the code is in there but not enabled? Is there a way to do it?
