Hello All - I just started playing - I really like this game! I finished the Crypt quest, but when the Oracles advise me to 'follow the river west' and find the Serpent Lair, I can't seem to find a way there. I seems like their cave has a passage that should open to allow passage out westward, but it is blocked by a wall. Is there a quest that I need to complete to get that wall moved? Or is there another way into the part of the map that has the Serpent Lair? Any advice is welcome, and thanks in advance!!! - Spartan

You need to use the right word when talking to the oracle...I think it is "Destiny". If that isn't the word, I'm sure someone will post right one soon! Mark |

First, welcome to the board Spartan.
The quest item is the ring from the spirit of Nivius (Crypt): Signet Of The Mavin. I've had the same problem as you to open the wall and enter the town of Ishad N'Ha. Although I wore the quest ring and had spoken with the oracle, nothing happened. I saved the game and dove under the magical firewall. After loosing some hitpoints I dove back and the oracle spoke to me: "You are the choosen one" and the wall in the west was open. The caves are the only way to get into the part west. Fallagar |

Just keep talking to the oracles and after each word swing around to look west...the cave wall to the west will swing open after the right word gets said...don't bother with the fire thing...who needs to take extra damage! also...you have to be wearing the mavin symbol that you got at the end of the crypt and that character has to do the talking.
the game is really fun...i am just a bit ahead of you... |

Make sure you have the person with the Signet Ring On talk to the Oracle. Did anyone else notice the speaking oracle leaves after she opens the tunnel?
