As I understand it, it won't hurt once you have the sword, but strictly speaking it would be immoral/unethical to kill "someone" who's helped you. That having been said, you WOULD get exp. from it if you want/need it. I'm running the same group of characters twice(two different save games). The first one is allowed to make any mistakes and kill ruthlessly whomever they please(evil group). They are my first run through the game to test and see how to do what needs to be done in all the quests, puzzles, etc. The second is my "good" group which I'm running AFTER the evil group has shown me around the Gael Serran(they don't kill NPC's, or steal, etc. I hope this helps.

I daresay it's not only unethical but also worthless. During the game run, you gather about 18 mil XP (without the "gold scorpion" and similar tricks). Now, the red dragon near the Pyramid is about 88000 XP at "hard" settings. How much could be the watcher of the sword? Dragons seem to be cheap in W&W as far as earned XP are concerned.

That large mat of treasure on which the Dragon reclines: is it worth anything? Is it obtainable after you ferocious dragonkillers off him?
