My priest had already completed the "give potion to Mekdawa the toad" quest. When my wizard turned into a warlock, he went to the Temple to get a quest from there. The priest gave my wizard/warlock the same potion quest. So, my party gave the potion to Mekdawa and returned to the temple. However, the priest did not acknowledge our success. Instead, he keeps telling my wizard/warlock that he did not fulfill the quest, and so now, he cannot receive any further quests from the temple in Valeia. Has anyone else had this problem? How do you solve it? When my priest became a warlock also, he did not have the same problem at the wizard's guild. Does anyone know how to edit the status of this quest?

question: did Mekdawa acknowledge that you have given him the potion?
If not, you might still have it. |

I checked my inventory and none of my party have the potion. Although, Mekdawa did not in fact acknowledge receiving it. It seems to me that the quest itself is a glitch, since my priest had already done it. I'm just not sure now how to fix the situation.

You have to wait until Mekdawa fully acknowledges the quest: "Mekdawa need this! . . . Toads need this! . . . You are Ukabu!"
When he finishes saying that, the "complete quest" trigger is set, and then the priest acknowledges you completed the quest. Sometimes you have to trot alongside him to get him to finish saying it. -Sazerac |

Are you sure that you have given the potion with the Priest/Wizard caracter?
Otherwise the quest isn't complete

OK. I see what I did wrong, but I no longer have the potion. So, does anybody know how to fix this?

Restore, revert, reload - those are the easiest solutions.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I finally fixed the situation by finding Mekdawa, clicking on trade and buying back one of the potions I had given him, and then letting my wizard/warlock give it back to him. I then followed him until he acknowledged receiving it. So, now, everything is OK. Thanks again for all your advice.
