Hi there...I was just wondering what exactly I need to do to start playing again? Do I have to uninstall the game, and then re-install it? How do I preserve my characters from the first time around, for say future games that perhaps let you import characters. If anybody can help, I would appreciate it.

All you need to do to start again is take your characters to a city (Brimloch Roon, for instance), go to the Options screen (click on the Computer icon in the lower left) and then click on "Reset Adventures". This will reset everything to ground 1. Switch to the Valeia screen, and your characters will be in the Inn in Valeia, with all their equipment intact (except for quest items). When they exit the Inn, Gareth will start over with his intro speech.

Have fun the second time through!

Second time can be even more fun! Since you know what to expect you can start exploring some of the fun aspects that we all tend to overlook in the first playthru. Like what can be climbed, city gates, buildings, etc. Looking for what items can be bought and sold within a store for a quick profit. Refining characters - Hope you enjoy the second playthru as much as I did!

Arrows, for one thing. Especially the better ones you can get in Ishad N'ha (like the Tamakari? arrows or the Dragon arrows). Also certain pieces of armor (the Dragon armor, for one, can be bought and sold at a profit over and over again.)
