To prove the Leprechaun exists, you must wait until you get into the Shrine of Anephas. When you visit Kerah in the underwater temple, swim upward into a small land-locked lagoon. In a clearing on the east side of the lagoon you'll find the Lep's treasure...among it will be a small brooch called the Stone of Clover. Bring this back to Miruth at the Thieves' Guild and you'll get credit for the quest.

To get the Living Seed, you can either pickpocket one off Oakenmir (not recommended; it's VERY difficult, even with Pickpocket skill of 12 and a dex of 24), or wait until you get past the Lost Sea area over to the Isle of Sands, where there are random encounters with Bark Horrors (evil Oakenmirs) which each drop a seed in turn every time you kill them.

If you can't wait, and are in for a little unconventional adventuring, have one of your characters "leap" to the wall just outside Brimloch Roon, and climb onto the tops of the trees to the south. "Jump" through the treetops (it will take some time and a small amount of damage) hugging the southern border until you get past Talrik's Cove. Pretty soon you'll be on the Lost Sea side. Drop down and find a beach area and cast "Create Portal" if you have it. You can now navigate over to the Isle of Sands area without going through the Anephas Shrine and get the Living Seeds.

Reason for all this trouble? If you get the Seeds before you open the lock on the Shrine, you'll get an extra quest from the Wizard's Guild.

P.S. Make SURE you have the spell "Call of Home" before trying the above suggestion...otherwise you'll trap your characters for good and they won't be able to get back.

Thanks Sazerac...I was just a little early (read impatient) and needed to adventure further, but I like the idea of getting the extra quest.
