MY BG CD's went out on loaner. Now, I only have a (re-bought) combined BG/TOTSC version. As my computer crapped out (see Gen Disc's if you care to sympathize ), I will be stuck using my wife's CPU with *gasp* WindowME on it. I'm going to install BG/ToTSC on it and play thru, the first time in years.

Can some kindly person(s) direct me to (a) a site where Ican download the applicable patches (remember - mine is the combined 3-disc set with both games in it put out several years after originals) and (b) a site where I can get a cool walkthrough - DETAILED - in case I get stuck. Thanks so much.

Oh, if there are any cool moding sites, that's be neat, too.

Thanks all.

Patches can be downloaded here.

http://www.interplay.com/support/patches.aspx

If you have The original Sega than I don't think a patch is required.

I believe www.mikesrpgcenter.com has a decent walkthrough.

There isn't much mods for this game, you can find them here.

I have the same version and you don't need to patch it. My favorite walkthrough is by Dan Simpson's at The Spoiler Centre:

Telchar, I think that link is busted. HOwever, just today I found that mondo walkthru at the spoiler center, and whilst at work I printed it - all 190+ pages!!! It's EASY to lose 200 (or 2000) pages on a law firm printer - one of the few perks.

Thanks!

Yea, your right, I must have typed it wrong. It does exist, since I started playing again, I put it on my favorites. Just do a search for The Spoiler Centre, then look in the index for Baldur's Gate. There should be a few walkthroughs, but you want Dan Simpson's. He has writen other great walkthroughs as well. It is a great site, enjoy.

This link should work:

http://www.the-spoiler.com/RPG/Inter...rs.gate.3.html

You already found it elsewhere, but maybe some other person could use it.
