I got meself Icewind Dale 2 a night back....

Yeah! I got me hands on IWD2 yesterday. I was up until 3am killing gobo's which wasn't a good idea as I had 3 hours sleep before driving 45minutes to University [img]tongue.gif[/img] Anyway, I was wondering how long it takes to complete the game. I know THAT depends on how much I play it, but I was wonderng roughly how many hours gameplay. BG2 was far too short for my liking, finished it in a week :1dusgust: Plus I noticed in another thread that the xp limit is at lvl 30! and there is no xp cap! thats horrible! My friend and I have major character fights, in that, I build up my character and he biulds up his and we fight each other. We both had lvl 60 BG2 characters.
Plus I don't like the 3rd ed rules, but appart from that, the game seems pretty cool. I chose a Rouge as my first character and I already rock!

Edit: I also noticed in the first town, that there is a blade with my name on it. I dont want to know what it does, or what I should do with it, I only want to know should I buy it?

Welcome to the Icewind Dale II forum!

Don't worry about the level cap. A full party will finish he game at level 16. You need to import them in HOF mode to Hit level 30.

About the "your name" blade: it's a mediocre weapon at best in all normal modes of play. It isn't needed for anything special and has nothing to do with the plot. Buy it if you feel like it, but if you don't, you won't be missing anyting good.

On the other hand, in HOF mode, the "your name" blade is quite a good weapon and worth having.
