Can't hurt Orlia's Essence (Spoilers?)

All right, we are in Chapter Two in the Ice Temple of Auril, and have taken the first two Priestesses out without difficulty, but now Orlia has broken her staff and gone into the "Inner Sanctum," and I can't hurt her. How do I get to the Inner Sanctum?

The Inner Sanctum is actually a mode you can select in the Battle Squares room; Nickademus can fill you in.

Go to the game room and set it to inner sanctum mode then throw the activate switch and that will put your party in HER ethereal plane and you can damage her.

Just remember to get out of the inner sanctum after you're done... I left the Aurilite temple, and found that I still looked invisible... unfortuanately I still got hurt next battle... very confusing when you are casting invisibility

Well, if you stay astral (or ethereal) while in the temple, you can fight enemies and they can't fight back because of that. You just have to watch out because some of the Aurilites are smart and will head for the battle room to turn it off. I usually head for the battle room first thing, and clean up the rest of the level afetr taking out Oria.
