I am going nuts trying to figure this out. I created a Portraits directory in my Baldur's Gate file. I then download the pictures and put them in the file but when I go to access them the pictures wont show up.

Could someone please tell me what to do step by step. I read in one message someone sayed to unzip after downloading....how do you do that?

If you have downloaded your portraits in Zip form then Bg cannot recognize them so you will have to unzip them into the same folder with Winzip 8, or similar.

Go to www.winzip.com and download the program. It'll give you instructions on how to install it.

Once you have Winzip installed, you can go to wherever you saved the ZIP file and right-click on it. There should be an option to "Extract" and that's the one you want. Save the pictures to the Portraits folder in your Baldur's Gate directory.
