Hi Six (or is that SoS?). I'd better supply some background. I had decided to wander around BG city before tackilng the maze in order to re-arm and get healed. I also decided to rescue Duke eltan from the FF stronghold I did that ok and took him to the harbour master as required. Just outside I ran into a FF with a name (can't remember what exactly but begins with a J i think). Anyway, he seems perfectly reasonable and we have a dialogue about war with amm and we go our separate ways. However when I go to the temple of Helm for some healing I run into another FF who attacks on sight with no dialogue. If I retaliate, all the citizens also turn red and I start losing rep by the bucketload. Does this make any sense to you?

maybe you hit him before and left without realizing so now he attacks cause he's still hostile, my suggestion charm him and stick him in a corner

Weird. I can only suggest possibilities:
- You may have resisted arrest earlier in the game, and although you didn't actually hit him, he's still mad about it - You may have Charmed him, and now that it's worn off, he's realized that he doesn't like having his mind controlled, and wants a piece of you. As Angelousss said, you can either Charm him and get him out of your way, or just avoid him entirely. (That is, after all, what the sewers are for.) I go by Six, Sixo, the Six, SoS, whatever. Hmm curious,I thought I had made a fairly good job of avoiding FFs in previous encounters. Maybe I'll just go to another temple for some healing. Thanks for your suggestions. Personally Six, I think you should insist on being called Mr Spades!
