gettin a bit irritated now, on totlm and in the court yard, done everything i can think of and the tairs on the right are still broken, meaning i cant do the next stage of the level.
i think it might be because i didnt read that manuscript, but threw it away instead - if this is the case, is this a key item meaning it wont dissapear, that would mean doin totlm again, and i cant be arsed as i have started twice now.

broken stairs on the right?????
you need to enter 4 towers. 2 from stairs on right and 2 from stairs on left. Now it has been some time since i played but i cant remember any of the stairs being broken. maybe youre just clicking on them in the wrong place??

I don't think that manuscript is a key item. If it is, the information should be replicated in your journal.

ZFR's got it right. I do remember that the stairs were a little tricky, but there isn't any quest to get from the courtyard to the towers. The stairs should work.

yeah the steps should work, but they dont, it happend before when i played, i couldnt get up the second set of stairs, then after a while they randomly fixed themselves and i could go up. I dont know what triggeed it tho. i need to get up there tho, cant be ased to go through HOW again just because of his. I have done that twice already.

well thats really strange.

my suggestion try again moving your coursor over all parts of the stairs. if this wont solve, do you mind cheating to get to the area upstairs?

It shouldn't be necessary to cheat. I remember that the trigger point to go upstairs was in a funny place.

well i dont care if the cheating only consists of moving me up there or something, just to avoid this inconvienience, please tell how. Ill try moving around everywhere again, but i have done this a few times now

well before you use cheating, here are the exact coordinates for the stairs. now it should work [img]smile.gif[/img] .

(btw, I think the hotkey to check coordinates of cursor is 'X' or 'Z' but am not sure... try all keys)

actually before i read this, i walked up the stairs and the whole miraculously vanished, but i had done this about 100 times so i dont really get it. But anyway thanks guys
