Oh, and one more thing: the narrow corridor outside the mummy's room is an excellent place to put summoned helpers to block the mummy from getting to your party. Then, whilst your summons bear the brunt of his wrath, paste him with everything you've got.

YAY! I found the key. Hidden right at the cornerwhere it turns, uh, visable. Killed the pesky mummy finally too. Thanks all for your help ^_^

erg... Hate to be back here on the asking side again, but I'm at the very end of the vale(took awhile, got caught up in school), talked to the guy, but can't get his coffin open. My trusty, yet very killable, theif Caki can't get it open, nor do I have the spell to, I assume I missed a key somewhere, but don't want to consult the walkthrough, since I always end up reading too much.... Any help?

The guy you talked to asked you to do a quest. When you were exploring the Vale do you remember a cave with Yeti's. Go to it, kill whatever is inside and go back and talk to the guy one more time.

That is what the forum is for. That is all I did for the first three months I was on: ask questions. Relax and enjoy it!

Like pritchke said, you were offered a quest the first time you saw this coffin. It is important that you accept the quest, then complete it, to progress in the game. IIRC, you can answer the request several ways, including one that goes something like, "Yeah, I'll think about it." This won't do: You need to pick the response that is most like "Yes, Sir! Yes, Sir! I'm leaving right now to do exactly what you asked," then go do it, and return. IIRC, entry into the coffin is a quest reward.

We can be more detailed than this if you want, but this will necessitate spoilers.
