Mine has to be Feldepost's Inn in Beregost. I think worthy of being classed as a 5 star hotel despite being described as "...old and comfortable" by Volo in the manual. As for the "...warm bath filled by several old men of many smiles and few words". Hmmm....makes you wonder why they're smiling.

Maybe Elfsong tavern (good wine, nice location) in Baldur's Gate or Feldepost's Inn (comfortable rooms)

The one in Beregost (?), where the guy comes talking to you and you usually end up fighting him. Not that loner axe dude, but the gang. It was a cosy place.

Ahh, it´s been too long.

I'm a fan of the Burning Wizard, but not for the thief inside it. My very first encounter with Garrick outside the BW was disastrous, but memorable. I refused his request, and he came down with a bad case of dronejam and got wedged in the doorway. I only meant for my cleric/ranger to tap him on the shoulder...I guess her sword was set on "puree" instead.

My other favourite is the little tavern in Nashkell by the bridge (not the inn). I first visited it after an evening searching the adjacent fields and farmhouse for "person" (don't want to give anything away). So after spending the evening up to the armpits in cow muck and carrots, you enter that little tavern which has a big fireplace and after a mug of ale or two enter into a conversation with...

Not really a spoiler, but, well...

I have to vote for the Blushing Mermaid...Wel inside the inner wall of Bauldur's Gate and easy access to the undercellar.
