Open a bag of holding underwater in a lake.

What would happen if you were to turn a bag of holding inside out?

Capture small foes (kobolds, goblins, etc) and put them in the bag of holding.

Place a portable hole in the bag of holding.

Oh no, that would be a BAD thing! IIRC, that tears open a rift to another plane - and all sorts of BAD things could come flooding out! Or so I have been told!

Oh, fun things happen like small explosions, small tears in reality though which you could fall, gates through which others could enter this dimension, etc. You know--fun stuff!
