Fellow Gamers,

I have two questions regarding dual-classing druids and clerics.

1.) Can you do it?

2.) Should you do it? ..... O.K., let me be a little more specific:

What I really want to ask is: Say a 4th level Cleric classes over to Druid; and the Druid gets to 5th level (one level beyond where the Cleric was when the switch-over occurred). Now, are the spells that the Druid gets to memorize **IN ADDITION** to the spells the cleric got? In this example, my 4th level cleric, with bonus for WIS of 18 gets five (5) 1st-level spells and four (4) 2nd-level spells. My 5th level Druid gets 3, 3 and 1 of (respectively) 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-level spells (no bonus allowed for Druid). So, does my dual class character have a total of 8, 7 and 1 (respectively) 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-level spells?

Thanks to any who have done this (or tried) and are willing to share their WISdom on the subject.

As far as I know, the Cleric-Druid is NOT a valid dual or multi class. The closest you can get is a Half-elf Cleric-Ranger or a Human Cleric dualed to a Ranger. Eventually you will end up with both Cleric and Druid spells, plus you can use the Ranger's stealth ability and you get weapon specialization and a warrior's THACO & saving throws

Like Darkman says to question 1, no. Unless you use Dalekeeper. Were you to do this then yes, you would have, as per your example, 8, 7, and 1 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level spells, respectively.
