I have got all the steps correct and it says there are noises in the round-table room, the room with the clues, but the stairs don't appear. Somebody help me, please.

Next time, please check the board first, as I'm sure this has been answered before. Anyhow, you need to return to the room with the round table, and pull the lever on the right side of the door. That will open the staircase.
