Just got back from Dragon's Eye...

I just got back from Dragon's Eye. I visited Arundel--he's murdered. What do I do now to have the plot move forward?

Also, I rescued the priestess at the second level of these caverns. When I talk to the other priests at the Temple of Ilmater, the option that I rescued her does not come up in dialogue. She has left the cavern when I go back. What's going on here? Does anyone know?

OK, you spoke to the false Arundel. The real one is dying upstairs. Go upstairs and talk to him. If you spoke to him, you want to go to the travel map and scroll down to find Dragon's Eye. Scrolling is important here. A lot of players don't realize you have to scroll.

The priestess (Mother Egenia) never does return. You already have all the reward you're going to get out of this quest. No one really knows where she goes. Apparently there was more to this quest, but it got cut out sometime during development. There's a rumor that she will be used as a hook for an expansion pack, along with the locked house in Kuldahar that you can never get into, reportedly her house.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an expansion pack. Latest rumor (on another board) is that everyone who worked on IWD is now working on another project, not an expansion pack, and that there is anyway some reluctance to bring one out because BG2 and NWN are due. OTOH, IWD did sell very, very well, so there's a good chance something will happen eventually. (If this rumor is correct, it would also seem to mean no more patches.)

I believe Sibley means "scroll down to find Severed Hand", not Dragon's Eye.
