Best Way to Woo Jaheira?

I've read that with BGII romance has been added to the game. Very interesting. Imoen is like a sister so she is out, what about Jaheira?

Any tips for a young, male PC looking or love? HA HA HA

I've heard that the romance in the game is difficult but does add an interesting twist to the game. Since Jaheira has been a companion in my party since BGI and she's hot, how best to proceed?

Any of you been successful with her?

I managed to successfully romance Jaheira till the end of SoA. Tips:

*Assuming unmodded game*

_PATCH!!! Patch completely including Baldurdash fixpack. Unpatched versions can make this paricular romance impossible.
_Race has to be human, half-elf, elf or halfling.
_Never dump her from party. This includes her being turned to stone or imprisoned.
_Common sense good responses should see you through.
_Never sleep, or even suggest sleeping with other women.
_Don't sleep with her first time you get the chance. Decline *politely*. You get to sleep with her the second time.

I didn't take her to ToB, so don't know about that.

If you have done the above, and the romance seems to not be progressing...then rest outside. She IS a Druid. They love nature.

If memory serves you need to do a couple things (three possibly four things actually) to kick start the Jaheira romance. She will initiate some conversations but they wont go anywhere.


1 make sure you do the Harpers quest. The game will force it on you, take the injured half-ling back to the Harper’s complex in the docks and agree to help Xzar.

2 Also in the docks there is a street vender near the temple of Ogma. He will offer to make a locket featuring a picture of You and Jaheira. She will not want you to purchase it…but go ahead anyway

3 (and not 100% sure this needs to be done) also in the docks…pay a visit to the inn there and follow through with the Jaheira centered quest you are handed.

4 and after all that you need to rest somewhere outside.

Hahahaha wow! I can't believe that there is still someone new to this game who doesn't know about the plot and story. Man, your in for a treat. Word of advice though, do not spoil yourself at all, don't look at any guides or anything. I read a walk thru before i even played it and i really hated myself after playing it for awhile. Well, sorry for hijacking your thread, and looking at the date you first posted this, I'm guessing you already know most of the story.
