Well, when we are able to play LOL (Me, Cloudy and Sazerac). We've been playing BG2 TOB for 3 years now! Although we took 6 months off the 1st year because my video card sucked (Diamond ). We always rock though when we play, which is usually once a week, but things come up, and weeks or months can go by where we don't play sometimes. It will really be something special when we finally finish our game, because of how long we've been playing it. In some ways I wish it would never end, but of course it will, and soon, and there are other games and adventures out there for us to tackle in the future. BGII is such a special game though, so it will be a happy, and sad time, when we do finish it methinks.

Oh, yesterday we got Draconis! Not one re-load either, whoohoo! Here's a screenshot!

Who plays which characters?

Sounds like a lot of fun, BTW.

Wow, that's great ladyzekke. I like the screenshot family-portrait style. You must go through with it, and actually 100% the game. Congrats if you do that. I think few true 3-human MP teams have made it all the way. Did you play SOA also?

In the screenshot... where is Rhallick?

Was this a LAN game, or over the internet via Gamespy or direct IP?

EDIT: Sorry for so many q's. You mentioned no reloads on Draconis. Do you guys use the pause when you MP?

I play Wenzek (Paladin/Cavelier) and Imoen, Cloudy plays Storm (Bard) and Anomen, and Sazerac plays Rhallick (fighter, can't remember which kind though) and Jahiera.

Yes we played SOA, and then put on TOB and continued onward! We play MP by ourselves, no Gamespy, Cloudy hosts our game, and YES we use the pause a LOT to decide strategies. We also use Yahoo Voice Conference so we can talk while we are playing rather than typing. It really makes a difference!

Saz took the screenshot, usually his character is in all the screenshots we have (we have 5 or so) but Rhallick must have walked off of the screen LOL this time.

That is really cool. As an on-and-off fan of MP'ing, I want to try your ideas. Do you have one player control the pause, or anyone pz when they need it? I haven't tried Yahoo Voice, is it free? I have a mic and speakers.

Yep, it's free. Just load up Yahoo Messenger and you get the voice chat/conference in it. MSN Messenger works with games as well, but only two people can use it to talk to eachother. I think Yahoo Messenger is the only one that allows more than two people to talk.

And anyone can pause in our game, doesn't have to be the host. We all pause when we feel like it, although sometimes it can get funny when I pause, and a second later someone else pauses, which UNpauses my pause ROTFL.

Here's a few more screenshots of our game.

These two really had us laughing, stupid Anomen! Apparently he can't negotiate ladders.

Here is Cloudy's screenshot:

Here is mine:

I used to play with a friend of mine, and we played from SOA all the way to the end, and I agree with you that it is so much more fun, indeed it is hard to find a time to play together though

I might try that yahoo voice thing though, didnt try that
