Well Imoen isnt really your sister in that aspect. It seems that Bhaals essens didnt change the genes of the child. I mean, how can it be possible to be a full elf? You must then be half-elf and half-god. It all came from the mother. The taint of bhaal comes from another plane of existance. My 2 cents

well. bhaal, as i understand it, could walk as a wide variety of avatars. so if he sleept with an elf while in an elf avatar the child would be an elf with the "taint"... though i might be wrong.

Bjorn is correct... The race of the Bhaalspawn is the race of the mother. Elven mothers produce elven Bhaalspawn, half-elven mothers produce half-elven Bhaalspawn... Though I suppose Bhaal could take the form of a human and sleep with an elven woman if he really wanted to...
