WOW!!! What an answer!!! Boards, Coordinates, who has them and where they are....LORD BRASS I AM IMPRESSED!!! There is one question however that has plauged me as I have seen the coordinates and screen numbers throughout various BG/TOSC web pages and books. I know that it is pretty simple to find a map with the screen numbers as long as you are walking around above ground and outside in the Sword Coast....My question is how can you discover your screen number if you are in a dungeon or in the upper levels of a tower? Is there a button that you can hit that will tell you what screen that you are on like the "L" button (I think) that tells you the coordinates of your mouse?

AFAIK, that it doesn't matter whether you're above or below ground, as these things are all relative. The maps are composed of tilesets, with the x/y co-ords hard-coded into the game. Or put simply, the "L" key should work on any map.

Who is Ulbright Tyrion?

He is the priest that you get one of the Books of Wisdom from when you ask him for it (Temple of Gond?) It is for the completion of another quest that I cannot remem...you have to go to the Temple of Umberlee. The quest is to do with the dead boy or somesuch.

The data for the first answer I gave is from the excellent PlanetBaldur'sGate website 'Item Bank'. So thanks should go to those guys and girls.

//Thought I'd better add a spoiler tag.//

Actually, I believe it is the Girls Hall or Lady's Hall or somethin along those lines. Its in the Temple of Gond area though.

This I know about the "L" key so I can only assume that my question was misstated...I try again...Yes the "L" key gives you your 4-digit x/y coordinates at any time on any given screen. However my question is, is there a way that you can tell the 4-digit name of the entire screen that you are in. For example I believe that the FAI is 2300 but if you go into the temple or the ring ladys house or any floor of the inn itself, according to my studies there is a 4-digit code for each seperate screen which in this case would start with the base 23 but would have additional numbers like 2301 or 2342 etc. It is THIS number that I am asking about?

By the way what does AFAIK mean?

Tymora's temple, in the same disctrict as Hall of Wonders. You get the book from the priest for the geas removal quest, for one of the 2 assassins who threatened you pretty early when you got to Baldur's Gate. You need to help one to get rid of his geas, then he'll give you his half of the antidote, needed to cure the poison you've been inflicted with. Another assassin has other half of it.
