is there any advantage if you're a evil cleric that can turn palidin?
do you gain any new abilities?

thx if you can answer this for me

Evil Clerics and turn paladins, and at a certain level they gain quest spells for example, Energy Blades, Elemental Summoning, Summon Deva etc.

With TOB, Evil Clerics turn Paladins instead of undead. Or something.

What is the point the only Paladin I have ever encounterd were the Knights of Xvim and they are in IWD2...plus their evil. And Demon KNights are evil too...but oh well.

To make people wary when they have Viconia (or custom Evil-Aligned Cleric) and Keldorn (or custom Paladin) in the same party.

it turns paladins in your party? how...krhm, useful(ya right). that must be the most useless ability in the game, considering the only paladins you fight are the fallen paladins(do they count?)

Exactly. When you are playing evil, why would you care if Keldorn got turned? The only real reason you would take him in the party is to kill him off. All the better if he can't attack back. Same thing with the whole Odor of the Radiant Fart. You really wouldn't work for them anyway, unless they were paying really well and/or you were planning to betray them. Fun time to be had at higher levels: have Viconia start turning, cast protection from evil and invisibility on her and Edwin, have them walk into the Order HQ and gate in a pit fiend. Just have Viconia stand around near the knights.
