Why do female dwarves and gnomes have beards? It is really annoying!

Well, I can explain for Dwarves.

Dwarves are known to have beards, male and female. Dwarves also find females more attractive with beards.

That's the cut and dry version so if anyone wants to expand, go ahead.

I think that this means that my Non-Western Civilization teacher is a Dwarf...she is short, plump and she has a beard.

Mr. Baggins, you little evil hobbit! Please don't make me laugh so hard.

You shouldn't talk about your teachers like that as they could cast a nasty spell on you.

I must point out that the same is true for Female Gnomes as well. Does your teacher seem to have +1 to INT and -1 to WIS?
